Review summary

Freedom of the Seas is a great ship with one problem.  Some of the interior rooms are so crowded that getting into bed at night is a major struggle.

At 74 years of age our bodies just don't bend like the old days and it was nearly impossible to walk between the desk and the bed.  So we had to climb in from the bottom of the bed.

Otherwise, what can we say.  This was a wonderful trip. Great shows, wonderful excursions, and, as we have come to expect from Royal Caribbean, a fantastic staff.  Overall a 10 plus despite our annoyance with a crowded room.  In case anyone is listening it was room # 8405.   At the end of the hall, too far from the elevators, and very crowded.

Just not at all what we expected. We have been on about 120 cruises so far and this room was the pits. Had to climb from the bottom of the bed to get into bed because the space between the bed and the desk is too tight. Need to make the desk smaller.

Ship tip

Absolutely loved the staff. Could spend the whole cruise talking with these folks from every part of the world. So interesting and so dedicated.
