Great Family Vacation

Sail Date: June 21, 2015

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren (16 & 19), and myself all had a wonderful time on this cruise.  The ship is beautiful. This was our second trip on the Freedom.  Our waitstaff and room steward were terrific!!!  The crew were visible and interactive.  The Captain was on deck more than once.  This was a nice touch.  The ship needs more pop machines and the ones there need to be in working order.  The show times were not convenient for us with a late dinner unless we went to the early show.  Not always an option.  We did see the ice show and I highly recommend it.  It was a lot of fun.  Great entertainment.

Food and Dining
Service and Staff
The shows we were able to see were good. We especially likes the ice show.
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Did enjoy the destinations. Have visited before but were able to do things we hadn't experienced.
Ship Quality
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was clean and the steward did a fantastic job. What a hard worker!! Could not walk up either side of the bed. Had to get in bed from the foot of it. It was tight but enough room as we weren't often there except to shower, dress and sleep.
Port Canaveral, Florida
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
We loved this stop. Great beaches and the tram made it easy to get around. There was shopping if you wanted to look around the shops. The lunch line was very long and it was hot waiting in the sun. We had a great day and would love to go back to Labadee.
Falmouth, Jamaica
George Town, Grand Cayman
Seven Mile Beach is beautiful. You can take a cab and rent chairs and an umbrella.
Cozumel, Mexico
Be sure to see Chankanaab Park. You can easily spend the day there. There is so much to do! You can swim in the ocean or pool. The snorkeling is great, there are restaurants. and you can swim with dolphins, manatee, or sea lions. Loved it.

Even if you do not want to try the flo-rider or climbing wall, be sure to go and watch others. It was a lot of fun to root others on!
