Terrifiec weeK!

Sail Date: April 26, 2015

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

The crew could not have been better.  This was our boys (12 & 15 years old) and they were very impressed with the cabin steward & dining room staff. The bartenders & staff on the promenade were also very friendly.  Couldn't have been better!

Ship Quality
I wsa expecting a 9 year old ship to look 9 years of but Freedom of the Seas was in terrific shape.
Food and Dining
Plenty of variety & service was friendly & attentive.
Service and Staff
Excellent attaitude & friendliness of staff
Entertainment
Onboard Activities
Wish there was a little more planned on days at Sea (Saturday in particular)
Destinations and Excursions
Grand Cayman & Cozemel were great. Wish Labadee was the last stop (very relaxing) instead of the first stop. If you didn't plan an excurison in Jamica you didn't need to leave the ship. Falmouth was not a place to see the local site, very depressed town.
Cabin / Stateroom
Promenade stateroom was a good size for 2 but were looking for a few more drawers. Also had a balcony room across the hall that was bigger then we were expecting and had plenty of storage.
Falmouth, Jamaica Plan an excursion but I woudln't walk the streets fo Falmouth to see the local sites.
Cozumel, Mexico Speedboat ride was terrific fun for all ages.

Tip

Free pizza, sandwiches & desserts on the Promenade were great. You can have something almost anytime. Hardly saw anyone in Ben& Jerry's or the Cupcake store. Wish there were a few more self serve soda machines scattered around the ship.
