Review summary
It was just okay for us adults but it was very poor for any children between 16 and 17. There were no parties for these kids other than to hand around 12 - 15 year olds. These kids are juniors and seniors in high school, have jobs and drive. They have absolutely nothing in common with 12 - 15 year olds. Not enough pool parties or for that matter any other fun theme parties for them. Norwegian was so much better for that age group. Also, quite a few bartenders were extremely rude to us when we ordered drinks in the champagne bar and the pub. Our waiters at dinner and the maid were absolutely wonderful though. Couldn't have been nicer. We gave them very high remarks on the survey. The kids curfew was 1:00 a.m. and they were just finishing up their pizza and heading back to the room when security escorted them down to their headquarters and then escorted each one personally back to the room. I thought this was a little bit drastic considering it was 1:10. All week long the people reserved lounge chairs by the pool and we had a hard time finding a place to sit. The one day my husband went to the pool at 7 a.m. and put our stuff down and we joined him and sat for 4 hours, we got up and went to grab a bite to eat and bring it back to the pool only to find that the pool people picked up our towels and let someone else have our seats. We couldn't have been gone for more than 15 minutes. They didn't touch any other towels the first 5 days when people didn't even show up until late afternoon. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. We would definitely go back to Norwegian in a heart beat!!!Ship experiences
