Great Cruise

Sail Date: September 04, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Balcony

Ship is wonderful. Lots of activities. We loved the ice skating, rock wall, pools, 3d movies, not to mention more food than you can possibly eat. The entertainment staff was by far the best we have ever experienced. Graham was so funny. We loved his morning show.

Pros: Activities/Amenities/Staff/Food

Cons: Not enough available to drink for those who don't like soda

Recommends Freedom of the Seas? Yes!

Children's Programs
My 11 year old enjoyed alot of activities, however after 10:00 p.m. they charge so he was not happy about the availability of times.
Ship Quality
Very clean, large and beautiful
Food and Dining
Great food and plenty of it!
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony for the 1st time and wow!
Service and Staff
I would give this an excellent all except for one employee. Our assistant waiter was unattentive and downright rude. When we could not get beverages after several requests, we finally complained to the Waitress and the next day we had awesome service from him.
Entertainment
So much fun. The activities staff is a riot. Graham is hilarious. Had a blast
George Town, Grand Cayman
Love, love, love this port. You must snorkel here. It is like swimming in a fishtank. So clear.
Don't Miss: Stingrays and snorkeling
Falmouth, Jamaica
We did not have a good experience with our tour, although, we did not book through the cruise line. Also, locals extremely pushy, trying to get you to buy.
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
The swimming area was very rocky quite a ways into the water. The locals are quite pushy with trying to sell items.
Cozumel, Mexico
Beautiful water. Went horseback riding and them swimming. Very happy with this port.
