stay on it as long as you can :) if you would like to lay out in the solarium for the sea day i highly recommend getting up early and bringing breakfast with you or having it in windjammer right before. seats fill up quick and people rarely leave there spot, or they try and save there spots with towels for the day. oh also DO NOT FORGET TO HAND IN YOUR TOWELS!!!! :)

if you do not have a balcony room get out early when leaving ports for great pictures or the morning going to see the glaciers. it fills up fast and you will surely want to get pictures of the beautiful scenery.

Definitely walk around the ship early on in the trip. There are so many places you go and experience different environments. There is something for everyone! The Viking bar on level 14 is a great place for watching the sun set 😃

Make sure if you are travelling with young children that you take on board a change of swim wear as our cases did not arrive until 5.30pm having boarded at 11am.

A great ship to sail on. I disagree with some rviews that it is a little tired. Perhaps it is but i'd rather be comfortable than coping with larger numbers n some of the larger ships.

Do not book the WiFi package. Max speed I could download was 0.9Mbps. Not even fast enough to stream a low resolution YouTube video without buffering.we even lost signal for almost 2 days when we were docked in St Petersburg

This was our 1st cruise and we had aft balcony cabin. We had a wonderful experience with explorer of the sea. Food is amazing with different variety theme every night at windjammer. The dinning room was really good with 3 course meals plus lovely service from staff. They remember your name, very friendly and that's the reason we want to come back
