Embarkation

10 minutes after arriving we were on board with a drink in hand!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall the holiday was everything we had wished for.

Windjammer Marketplace

4 out of 5

Its a posh cattle trough - but we liked it.

Viking Crown Lounge

5 out of 5

A hidden gem on the 14th floor, great to have a drink and watch the world go by.

Johnny Rockets

5 out of 5

Fan (our waitress) made this a special meal for us and we had great food and the attention to detail was superb.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Everything was great, although for the first two days one of the main pools remained closed for painting.

Casino Royale

5 out of 5

No winnings!

Dunes Mini Golf

5 out of 5

Played a round a day at least - great fun and easy to play.

Whirlpools

5 out of 5

Always in here watching the late night - watch out for the late night teens getting a bit rowdy.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Very good standard - although you can only get excited about a Highlighter 1st prize when you are 7 years old.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Great as always

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone makes you feel really welcome, from start to finish

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was kept very clean, but you could see some elements were very tired.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our toilet seat was cracked and the maid service never returned the room to a living room after the first night. Therefore the put me up bed remained out the whole trip. The bathroom decor was very fashionable 12+ years ago and looked very worn, with some elements needing replacing. Certainly not worth the money.

Ship tip

Make sure if you are travelling with young children that you take on board a change of swim wear as our cases did not arrive until 5.30pm having boarded at 11am.
