That ship is wonderful like a city on the sea has every thing you need or you don't, friendly workers a lot of fun also I got very good price thrw bj,s travel over all is wonderful trip

Friendly people on the ship, excellent food for dinner, stateroom good size and well layed out, very good shows.

This was our very first cruise. .and it could not have been more perfect. The service and attention to detail and customer's wishes was more than expected. So much to do or not--the variety of choices was overwhelming/how can we fit it all in? The entertainment in the Palace Theatre kept us wishing for more; the exhuberance of the Cruise Director makes me smile as I write this. Attention to detail is amazing. The boarding and exit process was extremely thought out and had no glitches. When can we go again?

Usually pick RC for cruises. Less formal than Holland America; more formal than Carnival.

this is my second time on Explorer of the Seas and I love ths ship although there are a few cons along with the pros. The cruise director is very funny and entertaining, the shows are great although there are one or two i did not really care for including the promenade parades. The food is good but the morning orange juice is still terrible and other juices are not any better unless there is something you are paying for. The virgin pina coladas and mango tangos are to die for! Casino and night club too smoky. The staff are all wonderful and the service is great .The ship shows a little wear and tear, not too bad. Photographers need to show a little more creativity. The shops need to have more sale prices. Overall I had a great time and would come back.

I think everyone onboard should be compensated for the terrible experience of being hit by the other ship...I think that since we booked through you, you should get in contact with Royal Caribbean and see if we are to be compensated for trauma... The second thing is that the Portifino Restaurant was booked the entire week...I think that in the future, they should only let a one party get to experience the restaurant, instead of letting people book it for the entire cruise...my sister and I were so looking forward to the dining experience, we were a party of two...they could not find space for us the whole cruise???

The ship needs to be updated. But you don't notice because of the great staff and the service. Food is excellent and plenty of it. Very friendly and happy cruise.

Too expensive for the cruise we got. Wanted to charge for everythin!. Had \"charge\" items on main (free) dining room menu.

Ship needs a makeover, chef at the windjammer needs to be fired on the spot. Service was ok. Most things are over priced. I wont go on a RC cruise again!

Eat too much.. If you're on a diet, don't take a cruise.

The ship is looking tired and needs a port call for work. Things need to be updated such as: no internet in the cabins, only hot spots and a computer center with a system that wastes money on connecting and disconnecting. In cabin entertainment needs to join the rest of the industry with having first class movies for FREE, not charged for.

The cruise was very nice but we were very disappointed as we were celebrating our 50th Golden Anniversary, and all we received was a Certificate congratulatin only ME (Connors,James, as that is the what was printed on it),and no mention of my wife's name. We have been on other cruise lines for anniveraries and birthdays and have always been treated to a cake or bottle of Champagne. Not have an appropriate acknowledgement was somewhat disappointing.

Have enjoyed very much crusing with royal caribbean. The ship has been maintained so well that did not show its age in most places. No odor or molds inside the bathroom at all. Super clean. The whole stateroom looks like new except for the spotty couch that I truly thought needed to be replaced. Overhall it is a beautiful ship and I would love to come back again!

We have been on 7 Cruises. This was the first time on Royal Caribbean. We liked the ship, the shows, and the ports we visited. As compared to other Cruise Lines we sailed on (Holland American and CELEBRITY), the food on the Explorer of the Seas was TERRIBLE. We ate in the Dinning Room, the Windjammer and Johnny Rockets and the food was all the same. Terrible. I must say we did eat in the restaurant and the food there was good but I should not have go into the resaurant and pay $ 20.00 per person to get good food on a cruise..
