I found this a very busy cruise, with 5 ports and only 1 sea day. The places were beautiful but the ship needs a fix-up.

Had a great Trans-Atlantic crossing, reading, playing mini golf and just enjoying the slow pace of cruise life.

Cruise good. Royal Caribbean does not honor prepaid Gift Cards and right before the cruise incorrectly removed the Casino Royale award and threatened to cancel my kids cruise. Was unwilling to address and forced us to pay immediately to not lose the trip. Very unprofessional.

Overall on this sailing, I was left unimpressed with the Guest Services team. However, the waitstaff and other staff members (entertainment team, bartenders, room stewards, etc) were all great. There was also an issue at the Antigua pier with clear signage for excursion lineup. The documents provided advised to go to the "end of the pier", but the waiting area was actually on the pier, right off the gangway. The food in Windjammer was great - good variety, great quality. The food in the MDR was mostly good quality, but it seems that the portions have become smaller than I remembered. Making it more of a requirement to order multiple items for each course to be satiated. The food in the specialty restaurants was really very good. Service in the Windjammer, MDR and Chops was great. Izumi service was a bit slow, we found ourselves sitting and looking for our server on more than one occasion.

The port staff in Miami were not compassionate to my situation of traveling with minor children. I tried to explain that I took these same kids aboard Carnival last year and all I needed was their birth certificates, so I assumed that's all I would need for RC. Instead, I was told, this is Royal Caribbean's rules and it is on the website. I didn't book with RC and had no reason to view the website, when I was basing it on my past cruise experience. It was a terrible way to start the vacation.

First time cruisers and we loved it. We are planning on another cruise, but maybe with another class of Royal Caribbean ships.

We had so much fun on this cruise! Our family absolutely loved it. The only thing I didn’t like about Jamaica was if you didn’t go on the excursions, you had no access to the beach or anything, and it was the same shop over and over again.

was OK! Booked it to go to Haiti and Jamaica, previous cruise stopped in Labadee but this time they decided to go to Perfect Coco Cay Island,

This was a family cruise with our kids and grandkids. We had a great time but wish the time we had in each port would have been longer.

Wonderful 9 night cruise on Explorer of the Seas. Spent 5 nights in Key Largo prior to cruise. Excellent itinerary that included some ports we had never visited. Staff and ship were great.

Over all very enjoyable. Ship was a bit more average than some we've been on, but we had no problems, other than the smoke.

I enjoy the islands very much and the cruise was nice n relaxing, took a nap with the blackout curtain and rocking from the boat.

Good food, great service, lots of fun activities.

Food, Food, Food... It was just terrible. It almost seemed to us that RC was intentionally trying to guide guests to specialty restaurants. I mean windjammer was that disappointing. Main buffet, didn't matter whether it was breakfast or dinner. They are equally bad. Not just main buffet, deserts, fruits, everything. This was my second cruise experience and the first one that I did exactly a year ago was way better. It was by Celebrity Summit a sister brand of RC. If I had to compare their food quality between two, it was like Jeff Rubys vs Local Chinese Lunch Special. I had such a wonderful experience with Celebrity that I chose the RC expecting it to be identical level, but oh boy I was wrong.

My travel advisor exceeded my expectations! During this trip I needed mobility assistance. My travel advisor arranged for me to have a wheelchair to assist me with boarding. I was very pleased with how seamlessly I went from the luggage drop off point to the shipboard Windjammer. That was the beginning of a wonderful vacation. you Carole from Dream Vacations!

It was an ok cruise. We enjoyed the ship as far as its layout. The food was above my expectations but the activities and entertainment were lacking. Movies on the big screen were geared toward children as were most of the offerings on TV. What few games we attended were skewed toward children participating even though 98% of the participants were adults. It would have been nice to have a break in the 5 consecutive days of ports. A sea day in there would have been wonderful. The islands are so close to each other that it seems feasible.

Won't be back with royal Caribbean intl. Believed it to be best cruise line and we've experienced many of other big ones (Carnival, MSC, NCL, Celebrity). This ship undelivered, and felt enormous pressure by staff to rate food/wait staff 10/10. Had medical emergency- in part caused by RCI, and RCI did nothing to help resolve issue.

We enjoyed our trip. 5 days of consecutive ports was a lot. I don't know if I would do that again. It is noticeable that the food quality on Royal Caribbean has gone down. It was decent but nothing like it used to be. The staff was amazing on the ship!
