Review summary

Ports were really great. Excellent locations to travel to.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent. Process was really smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main Dining was really great with an excellent service team. Windjammer was not as good as main dining but the food was really good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Fitness Center. Some of the equipment was not working.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Performances not nearly as good as had been on past cruises. Still had a great time.

Children's Programs

Did not have any children traveling with our group.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Main Dining Room Service was phenomenal. Room Steward was always prompt with his service.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
For a smaller ship everything was fine. Easy to recognize that the ship is an older model and needs some updating.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was really clean. We were hoping to have a connecting balcony with our traveling companions but the balcony wall was stationary. Would have been nice to have had a larger balcony. Additionally it would be nice to have additional receptacles and USB ports.

Ship tip

Relax and have a great time.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
Lot of construction in the area making it difficult to get to parking garage approximately 1 mile away. The actual port works really well.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
Dominican Republic is a nice place to visit. We went on the monkey land adventure excursion. It was fun. The monkey's were a blast.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
The port was once again nice. We did the skyride at this port for our excursion. Transportation was great. The area at the top of the skyride is lacking in options. We order non alcoholic drinks and one of the two drinks came with alcohol.

St. John's, Antigua

5 out of 5
Port was really nice. Our excursion was Amazing Antigua which was also really nice.

St. George's, Grenada

4 out of 5
The port was nice. We went on the Izzie House excursion. This tour is more suited for the ladies than the men. For the men it was boring.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
By far our favorite stop. Very nice island and opportunities to do other things there in the future. Our tour driver was superb and very knowledgeable. The scenic railway was great. Due to physical limitations from our traveling companions we rode in the air conditioned cars. The open air area on top of each car are certainly better views of the area.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Seemed like a long wait at the Palace Theater before exiting. Afterwards waiting on transportation to our parking garage was very long. 45 minutes plus and we were one of the first off of the ship. Transportation to parking garages is not a Royal Caribbean issue but something that they could coordinate with these type services for better quality service after departing. We had a very long drive home and this 45 minutes traveling versus standing would have been desirable.
