Review summary

I have been on many cruises, from the elegant, to the fun, to the basic from the United States to overseas. The service is what makes the trip the most memorable. I took a Nile cruise with my kids, though I was not on an opulent ship, it was priceless because of the service. Royal Caribbean needs to better train their team.

Embarkation

Disorganized - No service

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room server, Arizona & Agus were great. Buffet service was awful and slow. Food lacked flavor.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Spent most of my time at the service desk, getting no service. Though I like Latin music, it became too much after awhile. Lack of variety.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Agus my room attendant was great. Arizona and Agus in the main dining were great. All other service was horrible. Photography was awful.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
I couldn’t sleep from the noise. I had sleep with my headphones on. I got lost and ended up in a construction area.

Cabin / Stateroom

The noise was deathning

Ship tip

It was supposed to be my 50th fun birthday trip; and was a horror story. The worst cruise ever. Though I excused some of the mishaps due to a return from COVID, the nonchalant attitude once I provided feedback was a turn off.

Re: noise in cabin. Rule of thumb if quiet/peace is priority inside cruise cabin is to pick a cabin that is sandwiched between other "cabin only/majority" decks. For example, deck 7 or 8 on your ship would've been more quiet. Deck 6 is right above the promenade and walk way to observation deck. I always keep this in mind when checking for rooms as some of the larger ships have different layouts from smaller ships. I almost made mistake of getting a cabin below the gym one time -lol!
