Review summary

This was only our second cruise and while we loved our first cruise with Royal Caribbean, we did not feel like this cruise was as great as it could have been. It was probably just a few issues they are working on and we will continue to cruise with Royal Caribbean, but this was just not as great as our previous experience.

Even though we arrived at our scheduled time, noon, we did not get to board the ship until about 4pm.

The food was not as great as our last experience with Royal Caribbean. We felt that we did not find many items we liked and opted for specialty dining on three occasions (one lunch and two dinners) on a 5 night cruise.

Onboard Activities

We loved having more options for onboard activities, but did not like that the Ice Rink was limited to 20 minute time slots for only 35 people at a time - with such a large cruise, not open every day and first come first served, there was no availability to skate.
