Review summary

We had three days added to the itinerary due to bad weather and storms. We were directed to 2 x new ports which by all accounts were an improvement on the two that were planned. RCI made sure our safety was utmost and in doing so, added to the experience.

Dining rooms were good if not a bit rushed. The speciality restaurants were exceptional especially Chops Grille and Izumi. I would highly reccomend the speciality dining packages on offer

Onboard Activities

The activities were pretty ropey and uninspiring.

Entertainment

The best entertainment band were Hot Sands by a country mile. They were polished and professional and very approachable. The stage shows were predictable unfortunately.

Service and Staff

I could not complain about any of the waiting staff or stewards nor any of the bar staff we encountered. They were very friendly and helpful. I can only hope to see some of them again on future cruises.

The ship was well kept and maintained. It is showing signs of needing the forthcoming refit.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was just fine for our needs. We left in the morning and used it to change before dinner. The steward made sure the room was always clean and tidy.
