Review summary

Book excursions on your own without AA or RC, much cheaper and better experience. Plus the locals actually make some money. Be prepared for heavy sales pitches on everything from jewelry to fine art.

Embarkation

Although everything went fairly well, I was annoyed that suite guests had a special lunch and we were never informed. Communication prior to boarding could be significantly better.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
A little more clarification ahead of time on the beverage packages and which dinning facilities were included and which were an additional charge would have been helpful. I blame this on

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Kids club can be improved upon and at least one pool should be covered, especially when you are going to Alaska. I was sold a story about a kids only pool with a slide that was part of the kids club - never existed.

Entertainment

ice show was spectacular.

Children's Programs

My son was bored with the arts and basic games.
