One of the most enjoyable times in my life. It was my first cruise and a real Royal Caribbean winner. I am thinking about booking another cruise in the very near future.
Explorer of the Seas Cruise Review to Alaska - Inside Passage
Please just read my overall review, it says it all. My wife has taken three cruises and I have taken one. As I indicated in my review, I will be looking to book another cruise in the very near future.
Embarkation

Smooth, organized and amazingly fast. Loved the aspect of having my luggage sent to my room from the airport. It was a pleasure not having to be concerned with picking up our luggage at the airport upon arrival in Seattle, thank you R.C.

My wife and I enjoyed the casino, the shows and the piano bar. LIZ in particular who appeared to pack the lounge with customers whenever she played the piano. She was very entertaining and engaging. We truly enjoyed listening to her songs along with requests we made that she happily sang with a smile.

The ice show, the Chinese comedian and others were well done, we enjoyed all of the shows.

This is where I would need a lot of time to express how I felt regarding the superior service my wife and I received from staff in all areas of the ship. Let me start with my room 7312. The gentleman ( J. Fernandez) who cleaned our room during the week, seemed to be in the hallway to greet us with a smile each morning and asked if there was anything in addition he could do to make our cruise more enjoyable. The room was spotless every day and we could not have been happier with the accommodation. Now for the waiters, (Glen and Mario) very service oriented, friendly, courteous and went out of their way to ensure we were well serviced. My wife and I looked forward to our dinner each night knowing we were scheduled to sit int Glen and Mario's station, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Lastly, the casino personnel, they were all wonderful. In particular, please be assured that the women and men who worked the crap table were very engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. They were so friendly and helpful, I went to play craps every night just to engage them in conversation which made me feel like they were old friends and not staff we just met while on a cruise. Whoever is responsible for hiring your staff, should be commended for their ability to find the best personnel for the job and I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks at this writing, thank you for a job well done.

Cabin very comfortable, excellent size, spotless, well maintained daily and breathtaking views from our balcony while cruising.
Ship tip
Read my review and you cannot go wrong, especially the part of having the size cabin and a balcony in order to conveniently see the breathtaking views at a moments notice while in your stateroom.
See Photo. We took the train excursion to the White Pass Summit that i would highly recommend for those who enjoy breathtaking scenery. Be sure to take your camera on this excursion.
Organized and fast. We liked the express luggage feature that had our luggage sent from the ship to the airport for our departure out of Seattle, wonderful service, thank you again R.C.
