Review summary

Alaska is a must-see, especially if you are a nature lover. This cruise was a perfect way to enjoy some of Alaska's spectacular sights, and Victoria was a bonus that I probably would never have seen otherwise. The round trip itinerary made planning easier for me, and there was a good balance of port time and ship time. There was plenty to do all of the time. This was my third Royal Caribbean cruise, and they provide a consistent experience. The food and service lacked the WOW power of my previous cruises, but it is still great. Don't hesitate on this one, Go!

I had an inside cabin with a virtual balcony and LOVED it! The cabin had plenty of storage space for two people, and the virtual balcony provided a live, real-time view that was pretty cool.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Volunteer Park and the Seattle Public Library are hidden gems.

Juneau, Alaska Did not visit port

Mendenhall Glacier is a must-see but no need for an excursion. Take a bus ride up and roam around on your own.

Skagway, Alaska

Do the Skagway Float Tour if you want to immerse yourself in the Alaskan scenery. Awesome!

Victoria, British Columbia

The city is easily walkable. Stroll the harbor pathway and stop at Fisherman's Wharf and for Afternoon Tea at Huntingdon Manor. Then, walk to the end of the pier near the ship.
