Overall a very nice cruise

Sail Date: April 15, 2007

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Love the center promenade of the ship, the dining room food and staff were wonderful, felt the quality of the food in the Windjammer wasn't as good as on past Royal Caribbean ships - Found the extra charges for anything of "quality" to be offensive after paying so much for the cruise alone, i.e. Seattle Best coffee, Ben & Jerry ice cream, fine dining - Portofino Rest., a $3.95 service charge per person to eat lunch at the Johnny Rockets - I think Royal Caribbean is getting a bit nit picky
But, the ice show was absolutely out of this world - what talent!! We also enjoyed the singer & dancers - they also had one very good comedian - the show on the last evening was just ok.

Pros: The shows and the dining room service

Cons: Too many ports of call - would do less stops & more days at sea to enjoy the ship more

We took the water taxi too Paradise Island - that was a waste of time and money the boat seemed dangerous for American standards We weren't able to get in to see much at Atlantis - must be a registered guest to get in some areas - felt the locals were too busy trying to nickel and dime you for everything.
