Review summary

Colon is unsafe unless on an excursion and Limon gov't officials were photographing everyone's vaccination cards. Been to the ABC Islands a dozen times but still enjoyed a great Aruba tour with ElTours and Peter, our guide. Have sailed on the Eurodam previously - a nice mid-sized ship that is easy to explore. The Indonesian crew- as always- was the absolute best!!!

Food and Dining

Room Service was 5* but the Lido was a range of the good, bad and ugly. The MDR vegetarian dishes were awful but the fish dishes were superb. The Canaletto was great but NYC Pizza messed up the 4 ingredient Tribeca pizza every time we ordered it.

Onboard Activities

Great gym but closed to passengers every afternoon that the ship is in port - not very nice for those of us who stay onboard. Only 2 staff personnel were using the gym but we were not allowed to join them

Entertainment

The Island Magic steel drum band was just great. The dueling pianos on Billboard Onboard were much better than on our recent Rotterdam cruise. The Lincoln Center Stage group were super. BBKing's group was so-so.

Loyal to Holland America for 30 years because of their Indonesian and Filipino staff.

Wide deck 3 promenade for walking and an easy ship layout to learn.

Don't miss Indian and Indonesian lunches in the Lido - cooked by an Indian chef- they are fab

Sailed the Eurodam on our very first cruise in 2012. Great experience and have been sailing with HAL ever since, with an occasional competitor every now and again. Thanks for a great review.
