Really enjoyed this 11 day cruise. We would recommend.

Food and Dining

Very pleased with their selection/variety, presentation, service and overall taste of the food. We have been on other cruises and found their food lacking. This cruise had wonderful food available. And, of course, if you didn’t like something they would quickly replace it.

We were extremely impressed with the Lincoln Center Stage classical music performed by the piano quintet. They had daily performances that were like going to a professional concert each time. The musicians were top notch. The venue was packed every performance. They need to have a larger room. The dueling piano was fun...very different from the classical, but the guys were also great performers for that venue. The larger performances were not of the caliber of Princess or larger Royal Caribbean ships, but the Lincoln Center and Dueling pianos more than made up for it. Others also loved the BB King performances, which were also daily. They had some good movies, but could have provided more. The lectures were really quite good.
Not enough fitness programs at good times, I’ve always enjoyed free Zumba on Princess, but this didn’t have anything like that except maybe around 5:00, which was a terrible time. Pools weren’t busy at all.

Excellent.

I missed having an atrium or promenade where activities are centralized. Also, the really good coffee is only available on deck 11.

Hesitate to say how good this was because we don’t want to lose it on our next cruise. 😉
It had a larger balcony because it was right beside the life boat. It extended beyond the lifeboat. It was central and very quiet.
Ship tip
Get to Lincoln Center stage early. Use the Navigator app. Make sure you ask the front desk for things because the descriptions aren’t very detailed.
This port is really not great. They are making improvements, but it won’t be soon. I rated it higher because our friend took a ferry through the canals, it was a great experience, but long and very hot.
Visit the area right off the ship which has parrots and other wildlife. Take a taxi to walled city. They will also tour you around. Better than ship excursions as the traffic is very heavy.
I wrote a detailed explanation in the other section for ports. We visited the Curacao Sea Aquarium via a taxi ($5 each way). It was wonderful. Downtown area is colorful and nice.
