Fun Time by sunny2day44

We really enjoyed our vacation aboard Enchantment of the Seas. The crew and staff were outstanding. Even though our stop at Coco Cay was canceled due to rough seas we were able to go into Nassau an extra evening and we just made the most of it. If you can't find something to occupy your time with all of the activities offered or just enjoy some needed R & R. We all need that.

Ship was nice and clean. Great customer service. 4 nights was perfect amount of time. Would have liked more comedian time or different shows to watch. Eveningdining  service was probably my favorite part.

Feedback On Our First Cruise by robertmeyersroe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our recent trip on the Enchantment of the Seas to the Bahamas was our first cruise ever!  We couldn't have been more pleased. Everything (accomodations / food / service / activities / friendliness / timeliness / cleanliness) was indeed first class. Clarence who looked after our room was always available to help answer any questions we had and always had a smile for everyone!  We particularily enjoyed the evening formal dining experience.  It was a great opportunity to just relax and enjoy ourselves.  We will definitely be back.  Thanks again!

Overall Good Value by lornamcconnell1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Every person with Royal Carribean is a dedicated employee who takes good care of the guests. We especially appreciated our waiter, Nelson, at My Fair Lady!  The Jr. Suite accomidations were very adequate & kept well by the staff. Enjoyable time, both in port & on the voyage. We'll book again with this cruise line!

Buffet not as good on this cruise as we have experienced on other cruises. by Donkarl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The staff as usual was excellent and the ship was clean and in good repair.     The buffet hours and food were a disappointment, the selection of food was not nearly as good as we have experienced on other cruises in the past.   The fact that dinner there was only offered at 6:30 (closed completely between 5:00 and 6:30), and only limited service from 3:00 until 5:00.     We were travelling with our daughter and grandson, told our grandson could get ice cream whenever he wanted, as it turned out, on this ship the icecream machine was only open during the lunch hour.     A small thing for sure but not to a 9 year old.

The entertainment was also not as good as we have experienced in the past.

In general all five of us enjoyed the cruise.

Donna

Royal trip in January by AndreaW2

The trip was nice. The ship was beautiful! I didn't like that you had to pay more to eat good food on the ship. The best part of the trip was Coco Kay!

What is that awful gasoline smell and black circle around inside of toilet? by gfneveragain

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Will not ever travel the crusine line again!  One does have to use the facility and not fear they are inhaling toxic fumes!  I was so constipated, also had to shower with door open!

Our 1st cruise by MikefromMizzou

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our cruise experience was far and away more than we had expected.

We were just blown away at how beautiful the water is.

We booked a balcony room so we could have room service delivered coffee, to watch the beautiful sunrises.

We also booked at this time for the Full Moon, which was awesome.

The food, entertainment, everything about this cruise was/is first class.

Our only complaint would be the muster or lifeboat drill. We know it's mandatory, but it's a pain in the backside.

Really good time for novices by happytime

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our trip at sea was very memorable...the crew was very kind and very inquisitive as to what our needs were, especially housekeeping. The activities were plentiful, you could not find enough time at night to do everything, Entertainment was good, with the lounge/piano bar with Roxy one of the better takes.Of course that's just old people relaxing... could have used something like that during the day. Stage shows at night were highly entertaing... very good . Dining room was ok, but enjoyed the "Wind Jammer" buffet for breakfast, and split days with lunch between options. Dinner was ok, but table of eight made it very enjoyable.

Overall we had a lot of fun ...except the Casino wstinks with all the smoke, even effected the lounge next to it... real bummer for x-smokers.

Had A Blast!! by justdoit

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

First Timer!  Had a blast!  Will do it again.  The beach was so relaxing and refreshing.  I enjoyed looking at the bluish/green waters from my balcony and on the beach.  The ship offered more than enough activities and the entertainment was fun, fun, fun.  I love the fact that all my meals were included:  the food was tastey; I missed the lamb on the first night; some seafood (crab legs or lumb crab cakes) should become part of the menu.  Didn't get the opportunity to shop much.   I traveled with a male friend who celebrated my birthday with me (what a gentleman).   The room attendants, the servers and the staff went over and beyond their call of duty.  They all deserved the extra tip..  Thanks a million Royal Carribean Crew.   What a great experience!!   I'm ready to start palnning for 2014.  See ya soon:)

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We went along with a couple who had never cruised before. They were originally thinking carnival and we said no no do roayal caribbean, you won't regret it... WELL. We all had coke packages. The only coke cenetrs were located in the windjammer and one on the 6th floor near baskin robbins.'Whenverthe windjammer was colsed we coudn't get o those machines leaving only one ont he 6th floor. When we went to bar for a coke they bartenders were grumpy about it.They need many more coke areas especially in pool area The allowed kids n the adult solarium. We went on this cruise wthout kids for a reason! We ordered room service two nights for the the next morning and it never came. Our toliet clogged on our stateroom, waitied an hr for someome to come. The mirror in our bathroom was chipped and both of us cut our arms on it. The only person on cruise who was reliable was our stateroom attendant, he was awesome We raved abour RC to t o yhe coule who joing us and they were not impressed at all amd we were enbarrased for reccomeding it. (this was our 8th cruice with RC and NEVER hace we exoerienced a poor trip as this one)

Anniversary trip by georgiagirl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

There was not a lot to do on the ship but was good value for the price. The entertainment was subpar compared to other ships or cruises. Not a lot of food choices and food quality was average. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Enchantment of the Seas September 9, 2013 sailing by Travelady65

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Embarked the Enchantment of the Seas on September 9, 2013 around 12 noon. Check in was a breeze. Finished that in about 10 minutes. Boarded Ship, and went to the Windjammer for lunch, as the rooms were not going to be ready until 1:30. After lunch, i walked around to see what all the different lounges, and pool areas look like, and familarized myself with the ship. When they announced the rooms were ready, i preceded down to my cabin. I was upgraded to a large exterior cabin on deck 2. Was very pleased with my accomodations. Everything was brand new inside my cabin. Cabin was very clean, alot of closet space and drawer space. The only thing that was missing was a mini refrigerator. Mini refrigerators do not come with the room anymore, only suite guests. Make sure that you ask for ice in your room, because if you dont, it will not be delivered. I had my time dining. and it worked out very well for me. I was celebrating my birthday on the cruise, and ordered me a birthday cake, but it was never presented to me in the dining room the day of my birthday. That was a little disappointment. Activities and Entertainment on board were awesome. Production Shows also were excellent. Disembarking the ship went very smootly. I was off the ship by 8:15 in the morning, got my luggage, went through customs, in a matter of 15 minutes. Called my shuttle service to pick me up, and i was back at Orlando International Airport in one hour. Overall, cruise was great, and i definitely with do this again, and would recommend to my friends also.

great cruise if it wasn't for... by bahamasorbust

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This would have been a four star cruise if it had not been for the four life guards from the ship on coco cay island that almost let 5 of us drown and the guy in guest services that took up for them. A storm blew in and all they could do was blow the whistles over and over again and did jot try to help get us 5 out of the water in waves that you could not move in and did I mention they all had jet skies. Guest servies let me speak to the manager and come to find out he was not the manager later on that night SHE was introduced to the party and she was not the one I was lead to believe he was.
