Disappointed by blchandler09

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The ship shut down at 2:30am & staff chased us around telling us to do to our rooms... Needs more variety of foods. More shows in the Theater. Other than that we had a good time. The gym & pool was awesome.

relaxing weekend by emiliecox62

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Just the right amount of time to relax and have fun. We started with a tip to toe massage followed by a delicious meal, show then off to bed for a great nits sleep in our inside cabin. We loved the dark cabin that induced a peaceful nits rest. It just got better from there.

wonderful, I had the best short vacation in my entire life. by keybewinicius

This was my first cruise and I confess I was very exciting but a little afraid. My 13 years old son was very exciting too. We prepare for that trip and when the day came we know it is real. As soon as we get in the cheap we know we will have our big new experience. We go to our suite and our suitcases was on the door. The room is very appropriate and comfortable for us 3 (me, my son and his grandmother). He was the first one to explore all boat. I like everything: room, pools, events, shows on the theater, music and party everywhere and in all different times. The employers are spectacular, all of than are polite, helpful and happy. When the cheap stop on the islands I am very surprise with the organization. I am very satisfied with and start my planes to go again next year for 5 or 7 days. It was my best trip vacation.

Enchantment of the Seas by rickearenee

Food for room service was awful, it took anywhere between an 45 until an hour or more for food to be delivered, the food service could have been much better. I didn't like how long it took for us to depart from the cruise ship, I think that there should be a much quicker and convenient way for travelers to depart and enter the ship very time consuming.

Comfortable cabin, good staff by flacarol

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I found the staff to be attentive, and worked to make my experience a positive one. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The entertainment was good, and there were many options. The food was not great, even in the main dining room. Overall, I thought it was a good, not great experience. I will go on Royal Caribbean again, as I am a destination cruiser.

Review of Enchantment of the Seas by smithvickirn

The crew went out of their way to make this an interactive cruise and see that everyone participated as much as the individual person wanted to.  They had posted everyday on every floor the schedule for the days activities.  The staff was kind and courteous.  Marc (bing bong) was the best cruise director ever.  I also really enjoyed the comedian.  The main dancer (policeman in Village people) was outstanding as well.  He was very approachable and lead many groups.  They were all great.

Enchantment of the Seas by skesslerds

We recently returned from a 4 day cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas and had a wonderful time.  We usually have an oceanview room; however, due to booking at the last minute, we had an interior room which was very adequate.  It was clean and we actually had plenty of room.  The linens were very nice and the cabin attendant could not have done more to please us.  The food was outstanding and we tried "My Time Dining" which we really liked.  Our waiter and assistant waiter were terrific: friendly and very good at their jobs. Coco Cay was wonderful as always and the lunch brought over from the ship was great.  The entertainment was wonderful and we enjoyed every show. The Enchantment is not a new ship but she is being cared for very well and we would go on another cruise with this ship again.

You get what you pay for. by blazerk91

Overall not a really bad cruise experience. They do nickel and dime you to death for everything - to include a deposit of 25 on a towel if you use one off ship. Food was great in the buffet line. Food in the dining area - not so much. Room attendant was great. Rooms are small and old but they try to keep them clean. We experienced toilet back up, sewage odor, shower back-up and overflow I to the floors of the room. No refrigerator in rooms unless you ask for it.

Poor Main Dining Staff by suzywlynch

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had MY TIME DINING (which I don't recommend) and was refused a table the second night into our cruise.  Third night made a reservation and again my requests were to no avail.  Maybe since I was only on deck 2 we didn't rate a table in the MY FAIR LADY.  FAIR being and understatement

Great Labor Day Weekend with Family by cnicolejr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Our family had a fabulous time, the staff were accommodating and very friendly, the ship was clean and décor up to date.  Forget the diet for 3 days, because the food is "delish" (Rachael Ray lingo)!  The cruise director was hilarious, comedic, and entertaining.  He always ended his announcements with "Bing bong!"  The ports of call were both beautiful and a true gem.  The clear turquois waters left us speechless. Our only regret was that it all ended too soon. Crying  All in all a great cruise! Love

First time we have ever felt this way about RC! by JessicaGreen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The staff was RUDE, and the boat was not kept tidy. We were constantly harassed by the pool attendants about whether or not our daughter was potty trained, & told to remove her from the splash pad which she was enjoying more than anyone on that entire boat.  I asked a pool attendant to grab me a napkin, and he pointed to the Windjammer buffet and said "they're in there."  We have ALWAYS had amazing experiences with RC, but we will be switching over to Disney.

My brother and his wife took the same cruise a week prior to ours and they said the same thing.

Service/food/children activities by ChristinaT56

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Service both in the dining room and stateroom was excellant.  Did not like food.  Activities on board for children was disappointing.  Sea day all pools closed until noon. Bungy and rock climbing wall also closed for a good part of day on 2 days of cruise.

Royal Caribbean was much better then Carnival for these types of short cruises.

1st-timer, ready for more! by sacevedo8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

this was my first cruise, so i wasn't quite sure what to expect.  i had a great time at the ship's stores, looking and walking around all of the boat.  the casino was huge, with different level games for everyone. the comedy show was a riot! absolutely loved dancing under the stars. incredible food everywhere i went on the boat, with the most polite and courteous staff. a sweet lady works up by the buffet and always greets everyone with a smile and a song. she made me look forward to chow time! the only bad experience i had was at cabbage beach, in nassau.  i hope royal caribbean starts warning passengers about the dangerous water. junkanoo beach is much better, if you don't go to atlantis. all in all, i had the most fantastic trip and am already planning my next trip with you guys!  hope to see you soon!

Perfect! by sataffer7

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was my fiancé and i's first cruise. We didn't know what to expect but were absolutely blown away. Our stateroom attendant was awesome. Randy was always there to crack a joke or help us with anything we needed. The food was fantastic and the drink package was way worth it's while for a couple like us! We will definitely be cruising again with Royal Caribbean! Thanks for all you do.

Great experience by LeoMa

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It's a wonderful trip. But the trip to the private island Cococay Island was canceled due to the dangerous wave. It is understandable, but the company didn't arrange for us a new trip to somewhere else. Instead, they just arrived in Nassau one day earlier, and let us stay in the city for one and a half day.

Enchantment !!!! by avitz1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The Dining Room service was TERRIBLE for

    1.  It took over 45mins to get your appetizers

    2.  The entrées were Fair

    3.  Eggs Benedict was served  Hard Boiled

    4. The Bar service was non existent

It was very evident that many service cutbacks were present .

As to my $ 50 OBC, I was informed at  check in that there was no OBC. I was never told that the upgrade to outside excluded OBC. This upgrade took place after the fair went from $ 149 to $ 109 or because of our Diamond Club Status. Based on my experience cruise lines do this upgrade to make more inside accommodations available.

Bottom line Our experience with this ship is no way in comparison  to RCL's Independence which we took in February.
