Overall, cruise was good. We made do with cabin we had and no fridge. We were cruising with friends, and that made it better. We had requested prior to cruise same dining table, did not get same dining table, but this was quickly remedied on the first day. Loved itinerary, but not on this ship. Too small, too old, and starting to show age.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Great, was on ship in no time. Much easier than the last time cruised RCCL
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
MDR repeated several entrees over the course of 7 days. Was disappointed there wasn't more variety.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Trivia was good, had less than what they used to, and prizes were not as good as they used to be. A cookie, a cup, a highlighter. Used to win much better prizes than these lame things.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The headliners were very good, although the ship's performers and shows have been on vacation themselves it seems. Not the big flashy shows of other cruise lines that made you say WOW!
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The one thing that hasn't changed was the service level of the staff. Every staff member we had contact with was at their top game. No complaints here be it wait staff, room attendant.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship is old and showing her age. Very clean, but was on this ship in 2008, and would not go on this ship again.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was very comfortable, small, but not too small. Shower was ok. Only real complaint with this room who ever sleeps on right side of bed has to forcibly squeeze between bed and counter area to get out or go to the bathroom. Also, no fridges in inside cabin, but room attendant very good about filling our ice bucket.
Ship tip
If a refrigerator is even slightly important to you, go with an outer room, be it window or balcony.
The enchantment is not our favorite ship either. The rooms are smaller than standard rooms now. We referred to our last stateroom on that ship, as our "walk-in closet"
Yes, friends, make an ok trip wonderful.
