Review summary

Chose Bermuda as we love the island. Decided to give Baltimore port a try but it was rather odd leaving from there. The royal app is still horrible. You would think they could have perfected this by now!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Hit or miss and limited dining options as you only have the windjammer or main dining. Breakfast ends way to early and we often ordered coffee and toast or cereal to the room

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Smaller ship so limited activities available. Leaving from Baltimore was an interesting experience as it takes a good 6 hours to get out to the ocean. The app was horrible and often wrong. Activities vanished some days and reappeared.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Female performers were fantastic but we did not find it that good so we did not attend another show. We heard good things about the comedian but missed that as it conflicted with dinner.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room stewards and wait staff were amazing.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Nice size cabin. Only complaint is there is only one outlet on bed side so we needed an extension cord and outlet strip.

Ship tip

Smaller ships do have less amenities

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

4 out of 5
Bermuda is a beautiful island. We did a glass bottom boat ride. Luckily booked during sunset so we got a sunset cruise out of that. The glass bottom part was kind of pointless. We didn’t see anything and too many people hovering over tiny pieces of glass

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super quick and seamless

On our cruise in January on Carnival I had no issues using Carnival’s Hub app on my iPhone. However my cruising buddy had lots of issues with Hub on her Android. Just saying.

The big plus of Baltimore is convenience if you live in the D.C./Baltimore area. The downsides is a small ship and more days at sea. If you had watched when Enchantment sailed under the Francis Scott Key Bridge, you would've seen why they have a small ship in Baltimore. Glad you had a nice time.
