Review summary

Had a wedding on board prior to sailing and it was perfect. 30 guest with some not sailing. Perfect wedding. Cruise itself was a lot of fun celebrating with family and friends. Supposed to have wedding cruise experience with extras and somehow we fell off the books and had to fight to get what we paid for, so that piece what not a lot of fun and kind of put a little damper on the mood. Once they got it right, it was great, but a little late. Overall a great time celebrating a marriage with family and friends

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had priority embarkation due to a wedding, so very easy process

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Windjammer: very crowded in morning with some variety Main Dining Breakfast: limited choices, but quiet and did not feel rushed. Good food Main Dining Dinner: 1st night, food little late for some of table mates. Food very good. No issues other nights Chops Grill: High end steak house. torn if worth the price, but its an experience for sure

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of activities. can do all you want or do nothing at all.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We attended 3 shows. Singer was dated, but funny 2 comedians were very funny. Quest game is always something to see. What happens on ship, stays on ship

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Daughter wen to kids club and liked it

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Waiters were very attentive we had Grand Suite and thought our room steward would be a little more attentive then was. Bar staff always on their game. Weather turned cold on way back and outside crowd wanted to watch a football game inside. Took a while, but they turned on and the bar staff worked for their money. Main desk not very helpful when we showed we were not getting what we paid for and was able to prove it as well.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Older ship, but not worn. Sea salt and water does damage to everything floating on the sea. Did no have a lot of the bells and whistles as larger newer ships, but did not stop us from having a great time

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great size for my family of 2 adults and 1 child. We have done Jr Suite before and this is larger and roomier. If can do it, it is worth it. We traveled with a large group and at times had 10 people in room with no issues. Plenty of storage, double sink, large balcony.

Ship tip

Do all pre-check in stuff which will make it easier.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Been there before, so stayed port area, shopped and back on. Watch out for the restaurant prices

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was OK. No preferential treatment if in a suite or above, but it was not that bad at all
