Review summary

We went on this cruise as our family Christmas Cruise. Ages 9months, 5 yrs, 11 yrs, 20’s, 30’s, & 50’s. We enjoyed the main dining room service, karaoke in the Spotlight lounge, the pools and the amazing service no matter where we were on the ship. Our last day the ship was a little rocky, but that didn’t bother us in the least. Our cabin was quiet at night. The room temperature was easily controlled and after figuring out the shower, the water was nice and hot!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent. Our server, Crisostomo in the MD was amazing.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The rock wall and trampoline were closed due to high wind. That was a little disappointing.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We didn’t see any shows but the activities in the centrum were entertaining.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My son loves going to the ad venture ocean. The arcade was disappointing with only 2 video games and the rest were crane machines.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was extremely friendly.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was pretty clean. Except the windows. They could have been cleaner.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was bigger than I expected. Three people fit comfortably for the amount of time we actually spent in the room. Plenty of storage places.

Ship tip

Use the royal Caribbean app to keep track of the activities so that you don’t miss out.

We stayed the night before and ate dinner at a nice sea food place right on the water.

Cozumel, Mexico

Took a van with a guide named Tico. Went to a little beach club Buccanos. Snorkeling was amazing. Food was excellent. Everyone was friendly. Stopped in town and did some shopping. We loved Cozumel.

Disembarkation

The paper in our room said skip the lines and carry your own bags off. We waited in a line that wrapped around through the Orpheum all the way down the deck by the centrum. So, that was a lie. Waited with our bags in the line for about 30 minutes.
