Review summary

This was our first time cruise on a smaller ship and we had so much fun. Can’t wait to explore the bigger ones in the future.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The MDR was actually pretty good. We didn’t have anything that we didn’t like. Our waiters were so awesome! They were so patient with us and we had such an amazing service. The buffets were not bad either. It was always busy every time we come but we were able to find table. The servers there were very attentive. Once a party leaves a table, they always cleaned them up right away so the next party can have a table.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The one thing we did most on board was the Bingo. The host, Connie, was so fun! She’s very funny and you can tell she loves her job. I think everybody comes back to Bingo mostly because of her other than cash prize.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The musical shows were just OK. We missed a couple on some of the nights - there were a comedy show and also a singing show. But overall, it was not too bad either. We still enjoyed it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was so amazing. Our room steward was so patient with us when we woke up late for disembarkation day. He always fulfilled our requests and I love the conversation we had with him. Same goes for our waiters at the MDR as well as at Chops Grille. They were so patient with us. Letting us order however many appetizers or entrees we want. They were very attentive as well. I was happy with their service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is pretty small, so after a day you’ll be able to know where everything is. It is an older ship so you can see that some part is a bit outdated. However, I still love it! The centrum is so pretty - it has bright neon lights and really caught your eye the minute you step in to the ship. I’ve also seen many time where the team would clean the glass, the chairs and everything else. They always try to keep the ship pretty clean. I rarely see any mess around the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was pretty comfortable. I did expect that it was going to be small but for the two of us it was perfect. Like I mentioned before, our room steward was awesome. He kept our room very clean and neat every time.

Ship tip

Go to the Bingo events - it was so much fun!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Lots of really beautiful mansions. If you’re into Victorian buildings, definitely go visit one. We went to the Moody Mansion but there’s a few more in the island.

Cozumel, Mexico

We went to Playa Mia and got the deluxe beach break. It came with a bunch of free stuff but al we did was eat and chill at the beach. We also tried out the Fish Therapy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was pretty smooth. We did self assist disembarkation. We left our room around 8:30 am - we didn’t know you’re supposed to be out by 8am. We just walked right off the ship basically.
