Review summary

It was a good first time cruise for my son. This was A Birthday present. I have sailed Royal Caribbean two other times and wanted him to experience. When we docked in Cozumel and was next to the Sympathy of the Seas, the Enchantment looked like a match box car (Lol). Overall, nice time; however, I think it is time for this ship to be renovated.

Embarkation

It was ok, just don't like the up sell of things prior to boarding.

Onboard Activities

I had a lot of fun! Especially the scavenger hunts. I do like that there was different activities that catered to a range of age groups.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every place I either ate or got a drink, staff was so attentive! I truley appreciate that.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
The ship can use a MAJOR upgrade. It reminded me of the Cheesecake Factory. It is an older and smaller ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room was clean and was kept clean the whole entire time. I did not like the bed at all. It was very hard and I woke each morning with pains in my hips. But, its not MY bed so I get it.

Ship tip

You can load cash on to your account instead of waiting until the last day to settle. This way you can monitor your spending.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Very pushy with sales soon as you get off the ship.

For those that buy alcohol... know that TABC will be there for you to pay taxes on your liquor. Did not know that. It is $3.25 per bottle, I think.
