Review summary

Highly recommend cruising with Royal Caribbean. This trip exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go again. Please note: enchantment of the seas is a smaller ship, so there is more movement felt on this ship than there is on larger ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We had an interior room. The room was roomy enough for two people. However the beds were so hard, it caused me hip pain from sleeping on my sides. The bathroom was also extremely small compared to a similar room we had on a carnival ship.

Ship tip

Staterooms will not be ready until 1:30pm. If you arrive early, limit your carryon luggage because you will have to carry it with you.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Spent the day at Bucconos beach. Very relaxing with no venders harassing you. $20 per person entrance includes beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. Additional activities offered at an additional cost. Such as parasailing, jet ski rentals, scuba diving and beach massages. The drinks and food was very good.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We did the beginner scuba diver excursion. Highly recommend.

Self serve disembarkation was very fast. We were off the ship and in our car by 7:45.

So glad you had a good time!!! I agree with JT1962. I like smaller ships every now and then also. It's a totally relaxing vibe and you don't feel like you constantly run from one place to another for fear of missing any excitement. I love Enchantment and Brilliance both!!!

It’s interesting how others can be on the same exact cruise and have such a different opinion. You enjoyed it even though it was a smaller older ship and another Reviewer was on the exact same cruise had several complaints about the ship and did not seem to enjoy themselves. I can’t imagine being on a cruise and not enjoying it, but some seem to find a way.
