Review summary

I had a great time. Relaxed, saw many beautiful views and enjoyed the ports and excursions.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Cannot complain about any of it. The food was delicious.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Fitness center was okay, but could use more machines, less treadmills. Did not much care for the rock climbing or bungy jumping. Enjoyed lounging around the pool and watching the poolside movies.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows I saw were good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was top-notch, excellent everywhere on the ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Older ship, but everything was very clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was good but the night stands were worn and scratched up. Could use some updating.

Ship tip

This is a smaller, older ship. It seemed more relaxed and quiet, which was great. If you want the newest, most up-to-date and more lively, you may consider another ship.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

3 out of 5
I live in Texas and do not go to Galveston other than for the cruise port. There are some nice attractions, but the beaches suck and the water is very muddy.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Cozumel, Mexico

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was a long line but it went relatively fast.
