Review summary

Very nice 5 night cruise. I would consider using royal Caribbean again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrived at 11:00. Not much line. Took about 10 mins to get on the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good everywhere. Portions in the main dining room were small, but I saw others ordering additional plates, so that’s no big deal. The menus did not change much each day, so it began to feel monotonous by day 4.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were really crowded most of the time, unless you swam early or late. The solarium was quieter, but hotter and no breeze. We had fun at the casino and the evening shows. They were pretty good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
They were good. We went to all of them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great service. Our room steward, Thandi was sweet. Main dining room guys, Robet and Iketut were very nice

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was very clean, but is due to be refurbished. Very rusted in areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved our balcony!

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
Small, very aggressive peddlers. Prices weren’t great here except for jewelry.

Cozumel, Mexico

Great stop! Do the dolphin excursion! Had lunch at bubba gump’s :)

Disembarkation

Smooth and efficient.
