Embarkation

super fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
All the food and drinks were good. A “tropical/destination” themed food variety would have added value.

Chop's Grille

5 out of 5

Excellent! Food was amazing and staff great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Did not use

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Nice variety. Loved the flag ceremony and competitions.

Children's Programs

No children cruising

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were excellent. They were engaging, fast service and friendly. Some needed more training on the newer Key Program.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was well maintained and kept very clean. The ship is older so did have rust (mostly outside). We loved the classy nostalgic decor/feel

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was a nice size and had plenty of storage space. I over packed and still didn’t use 1/3rd of the space. The shower was small however the shower head was awesome and having the detachable hose made it work well.

Ship tip

Get the Key if offered. Don’t overpack and have a solid back up plan for every excursion

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

1 out of 5
Our Kennedy Space Center excursion was cancelled at last minute by RCC with no other excursions available and due to port location, transportation change that reduced available time, distance to hotel and luggage situation we were unable to arrange another excursion for the day. This was a great disappointment as it was the only excursion booked with RCC and we had bought special clothing and planned to get special gifts here for family. Note: prior to cruise we stayed at Best Western Cocoa Beach for a day/night and the pier, beach, Pelican’s Bar, Ron Jon were all excellent experiences.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We went to Atlantis for the day. It was a lot of fun and beautiful. Of course we didn’t get to see/ do everything so we prioritized and were also able to catch a few shops at Straw market before heading back to the ship. As suggested we went outside the pier gate to get the taxi for $4 person and that worked well. At the port the sales people promoted their services however once we said no thank you they quickly moved on. We never felt threatened and in looking around everyone seemed to be enjoying the port.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
As we were Key members and had rented the beach loungers for 2 we were quickly transported the South Side Beach to select our lounger. We were the 1st guests to arrive at the lounger section so had the best seats in the house. The new port, dining area and Oasis pool were Awesome. The little gift shops were pretty much the same merchandise and didn’t really offer a lot of variety.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was smooth. There weren’t any options for the airport transfer so we were delayed 2.5 hours longer than originally anticipated to to the excursion cancellation.

I am not certain what happened on my review when it uploaded as most of my ratings were 4 or 5 except Port Canaveral. I am not certain how to fix
