Embarkation

No problem with our embarkation. It was quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the late dining in the My Fair Lady dining room each night. The staff was great & the food was even better. Tip: Try the cheesecake. It’s really good!!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
It was a three day cruise. It wasn’t much time to enjoy the entire ship, but I did go to the casino a few times, never won anything. I did over hear some ppl talking & saying nobody has really won any money in that casino. Another thing if you’re a non smoker, you would not enjoy it. It’s full of smoke, but I think all cruises let them smoke in the casinos which is a nuisance to non smokers. I disliked it.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I didn’t see any stage shows like I’m use to on the Carnival. They did have a 70’s disco party in the centrum on the first night. It was cool. They also had other activities going on in the centrum each night, but no stage shows.

Service and Staff

The waiters in the My Fair Lady dining room were great, but our room steward could have been better. We only got the towel animals the last night on the ship. We didn’t get a Itinerary Saturday night for Sunday, but we did get Itineraries Sunday night with an envelope for extra tips! Can you believe that? I don’t blame the room steward for that, that blame goes to cruise line. We already pay for tips upfront. I feel like if we want to give extra, let it be my decision & you not ask me for it. On the first day one of the waiter charged each of us in my group more than 18% for a drink. 🤬

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was nice, especially the view from the club overlooking the pool deck & movie screen @ night.

Cabin / Stateroom

The bathroom seems to be a smaller compared to Carnival. No Fridge in the rooms. No ice bucket. No luggage mat. All the things I’m use to at Carnival, but It did have a big chair in the room in the corner behind the bathroom door.

Ship tip

I prefer to sail with Carnival b/c I didn’t like the fact that Royal Caribbean ran my card before the cruise was over for each transaction. Carnival waits until the cruise is over before they charge your card. Also they had a tip box on the guest service desk. Why are you asking for additional tips? Let it be our decision to give extra if we desire. It seems to meyou’re money hungry or you do not pay your staff well. & you want the customers to compensate it. Room service sucks. Only continental breakfast is free, but if you order anything with eggs or pancakes it’s an extra cost. Overall the ship is okay, but I don’t like sailing w/ Royal. Someone told me to give it another try, but on one of their bigger ships b/c this one is older & smaller, but the things I dislike is not the ship it’s Royal Caribbean.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

We had to prepay for parking. No attendant to take your money or to give you change back...that can be good or bad depends on how you look at it.

Nassau, Bahamas

Everything went smoothly.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

Everything went smoothly.

Disembarkation

RC flagged me when I tried to get off the ship b/c some how my card had gotten unlinked from my account & my bill wasn’t paid, so I had to take care of that. It was annoying. The lines were extremely long.
