We have been on this exact cruise before and enjoyed it enough to go again two tears later.

Review summary

Overall a great short cruise that will leave you wanting to come back. Easy to get around and brief enough that you won't be board if cruising is not your thing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Mostly very good. A few dinners at My Fair Lady dinning room were not so good. Stick with steak options vs. seafood.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is easy to navigate making it a great 1st cruise ship or if not into the city on water theame. Ship is starting show some where in the rooms and some noticeable rust around some windows. But overall, it was clean and kept up for a 20 plus year old ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Had a window view cabin that was a bit tight for three. We all Kept bumping our head on the bunk above for our son. Good use of space, just bring a few wipes as many drawers and some shelves were dusty when we got the room.

Ship tip

Go to the pre sail seminar on shopping tips in the Bahamas. Helped us a lot when walking around in Nassau.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

We visit this area often even when not cruising. Great local restaurants, some new attractions, cocoa Village is about 20 minutes by car and has some great shops and eateries as well. Cocoa Beach has great waves at the beach and is clean.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

Reason we took this trip again. Love the peaceful beach, great weather, clean water, nice BBQ offered by Royal Carribian on the Island.

Nassau, Bahamas

If you plan ahead and have an idea what you might want, shopping can be fun with some good deals as its duty and tax free for visitors. It can get pushy when you first get off the ship, but once past that, it's easy walking down Bay Street. Several nice excursions too if you want to get up close to a dolphine or visit Paradise Island but plan to pay for it.
