Review summary
As a last minute booking we had no choice on cabin selection. Our inside cabin was apparently immediately below the galley and restaurant. Every night between 1 and 2 am it sounded like metal barrels rolling across the deck or heavy furniture being dragged around..no doubt preparing for the morning dining. If that wasn't bad enough, the ship,s dining staff seemed to be filled with new recruits and the service was less than expected on Royal Caribbean. The food was reasonably good with the lamb shank being exceptionally good but still, dare I say it, no better than Carnivals. Shows were good, but as with most older crowds, ourselves included, the comedians didn't always hit the right mark. Overall we could give it 2.5 and below Carnival and way below Celebrity. We haven't given up on RC, and will try one of the larger ships next time.
