Review summary
Had a wonderful time on the cruise. This was a first time experience for me and some friends. One of the things that would have been good to know is that when you get to the port terminal, you can pull up to unload all of your luggage first before parking the car instead of parking the car and then having to lug all the bags back down to have them put on the ship.
We had no problems going through the line to get our sea pass and were able to go straight to our room and put our carry on bags in. A few of our bags had already made it to the room by the time we had gotten there.
New Year's Eve party was jumping and the party then moved from the main gallery up to the pool deck and continued on until well after I had gone to bed.
The next day we were at Coco Cay, the cruise lines private island and we didn't do any of the excursions. We just went to the beach area and laid out and went into the water. Crystal clear water. Food was ok on the island but much better on board the ship.
The cruise had plenty of activities on board from alcohol tastings to movies being played and shows in the theater.
The main dining room food and staff were excellent. Could not have been better. From our head waiter Laura to our table waiter, Gavin. Attention to detail and making us happy and content was their number one goal.
Room Steward was excellent also. He knew our names and room number on the very first day on board.
