Great but missed the day at Cococay

Our first cruise and we had a wonderful time.  Will be back for sure! We had room 7077 which was one of the newer rooms and it was perfect. Our room attendant was great.  The food was good. Not award winning but we were happy. The day in Nassau was fun. We didn't do an excursion but walked to the beach. We were disappointed the ship didn't stop at Cococay, but understood b/c the water was white capping. Highly suggest the Love and Marriage Show. Lots of fun!

Stayed the night at the International Palms Resort. Dont let them fool you. They said we had a "free upgrade" and the room was pretty terrible like the reviews said. But the food at their bar by the beach was good! Visited Ron Jon's Surf Shop and it was fun.
Nassau, Bahamas
We walked to Tiki Bikini Hut. Good price for 2 chairs, umbrella and drinks. Food was SUPER good. But the beach is kinda dirty and crowded. Had a good time though.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Don't plan your Nassau day based on thinking you'll get beach time at Cococay. We didn't stop. Would have spent the day in Nassau at more of a private beach area if we'd known.

DO reserve a tux early. They were out of my husband's shoe size one week before cruise. DON'T wait to try on your tux. He found the pants were several inches smaller than what we reserved 20 min before dinner on formal night.
