Review summary

Because this cruise was the day after Thanksgiving we expected A full ship with lots of Kids, in fact tis was a Birthday present for our Daughter-in-Law and 2 of our Grandchildren ages 6 and 9. MY wife and I have been on 3 other cruises, the last one being in May on Princess Cruise Lines, and the quality of service and entertainment was the difference between night and day,  The embarkation was smooth and efficient, but once on board the ship it all started to change rapidly, The Windjammer Restaurant was expectedly crowded, but the buffet layout required the staff to cut through the lines to restock the hot foods, most of which was overcooked and the quality was just a tad bit over what you would find at a Golden Coral, not what you would expect on a Cruise ship.  The required safety exercise was disorganized and  for a first time cruiser was very uninformative.  The customer Service desk attendants acted as they didn't want to be bothered and were very curt.

The first evening we went to the featured show, the band and dancers were good, The MC, Topi, is also the Cruise Director, who thinks he should be the star of the show. The show was suppose to be family oriented, and the Juggler was, however the comedian was definitely for a mature audience only, and as we were sitting in the back of the theatre we saw at least 30 people get up and leave as his theme was about adult men p*****. and as I said earlier the ship had l0ts of young kids on board.

The good point was our cabin attendant was great,

We Did not get to Coco Cay, due to high winds, and the activities on board were poorly organized such as contest for 4 to 9 contestants being the show for everyone else. Our dining in the Dining room was a disaster, The service was good, but my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan, which was tastles, our grand children had Mac and Cheese which had 1/4" of water in the bottom of the dish, it appeared it was a frozen entre. but again the serve was good. The debarkation took over 3 hours and again very disorganized.

Why did Coco Cay get a frown they cant control the weather. If your looking for a kids cruise take out your wallet and hand it to Mickey.

Sorry you didn't have a good time. Enchantment is (I think) their 2nd oldest ship and I bet it is 50% the price of Princess. I would agree about the food quality - our expectations aren't very high on Enchantment. However, we have been on it twice and the crew has been great and find it to be a relaxing 4 day getaway. Give their Freedom class a try -:)
