Review summary

This would be a good cruise for a first timer.  I found it enjoyable but would probably not do this one again.   Our dining room waiters were great (Francisco and Alberto).  On the whole the staff was helpful and efficient. The food was excellent.  My biggest complaint was the internet.  I paid $120 and was not able to get on for more than a couple of hours.  Not worth the price.

Ship tip

The solarium was a great place to spend time relaxing and reading. It is quiet and no children. Don't bother with getting the internet package. The internet connection was horrible. Might as well not bother with bringing your computer.

What are you doing spending all that time on the internet ? You are on vacation .

I like a longer cruise and more variety.  I have been to the Bahamas several times and I don't particularly want to go again.  This was just too short a cruise for me.  There is nothing wrong with the cruise or the cruise line.  In fact, I had a very relaxing experience but I really prefer at least a 10 day cruise.

We are going on this cruise and it is her first time. Why wouldn't you go on this ship again?

I loved not having internet access! Thought it was gonna be hard but was great to disconnect from the outside world and bad news. However, I did text me kids when we were in Nassau. I had international plan set up through my cell provider. For me vacation is being disconnected from the real world and being able to live in paradise for the time I'm there.

Glad you had a good time! But who wants to spend their cruise on the internet anyway!? Especially more than a couple of hours? My advice- if it's not a 100% necessity, learn to disconnect for your vacation! spend the $120 towards a drink package 😝
