The weather was so awful that all excursions were cancelled and we were not able to dock at foreign ports. We had planned an exciting vacation full of snorkeling, swimming, live music, and beaches, but unfortunately, not of that happened. The cruise director did try to add additional activities for passengers since we were all stuck indoors for the majority of the trip due to either wind or rain or both. But, the main activities really didn't start until evening, which left the majority of the day to sit bored. It was frustrating after waiting for months for this vacation, to know that we could have enjoyed a better vacation off of the boat. Although weather is not Royal Caribbean's fault, we wished they would have tried harder to either give some sort of raincheck discount for a future vacation, or at least keep their guests entertained while on this trip.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Honestly, the food was the best part of our vacation! After everything was cancelled and we were sea sick, the food and drinks really helped make up for it.
Onboard Activities

During the day, there was not a lot to do! When we were "docked" in Nassau briefly, the weather was so terrible that all excursions were cancelled and we could not get off of the boat..... in the meantime, the ship was like a dead zone! bars were closed, shops were closed, casino was closed. They expected passengers to be on the island and not on the boat, so everything was closed down. But with the extreme weather conditions, and most excursions cancelled, the opposite happened. SOOO many people stayed on the boat, then had nothing to do!
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The evening entertainment was really great. The comedy shows, Quest, and The love and marriage game show were GREAT late night entertainment. But the day really lacked FUN! After we could not dock, due to weather, the cruise director did implement celebrity trivia...... but it was absolutely BORING! There was no music, just a shot of a couple on the screen and you were supposed to write down who you thought it was. Each picture was up for at least five minutes, and after 20 minutes of trivia, we had only seen 4 pics of celebrities. NOT ENTERTAINING! They did offer an art exhibit with several paintings, and a chance to win the lottery at the casino, but these "activities" only took maybe 10-20 minutes, which left the entire day before anything entertaining was available. We wished they had offered decks of cards or board games considering all excursions and activities were cancelled.
Children's Programs
N/A in our situation.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our dining crew (Sandra from Croatia, Zhuoran from China, and Manuel from Philippines) were OUTSTANDING!!!!!! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND just being a wait staff. They realized that we were not fully enjoying our vacation and did their best to keep us laughing and made sure that at least we enjoyed our meals and cocktails. We loved them!!!!
Ship Quality

The ship was newly remodeled and absolutely stunning!
Cabin / Stateroom

We were really impressed with the closet! It not only had a place to hang clothes and store your luggage bags, but also had additional drawers. The bed was pretty awful, but the pillows were great. The lighted vanity was a great bonus, and the multiple drawers were great in helping keep the tiny room tidy and things off the floor.
Ship tip
The Solarium is the place to be! Not even sure I want to share this tip! There are no children allowed, which made it a wonderful place to relax by the indoor pool and spas while the weather outside was awful! In the Windjammer, FIND YOUR TABLE FIRST! It gets crowded, get your table before food!
Thanks for posting your first review here on the Website. It was nice to know that you had a good experience in Port Canaveral. It is my local port. Should you return, there is a wonderful Exploration Tower right at the port where you could spend a couple of interesting hours viewing a video, some interactive activities and displays.
