Review summary
The cruise was relatively short (Mon-Fri) and had only one notable stop, Nassau. A stop at Coco Cay was canceled due to high winds that eliminated tendering to shore. The ship is "tired." The décor is old and worn and a bit out of date. Staff are courteous if not exuberantly friendly, except for dining room staff, who seemed to "get the idea..." Food was excellent! Lots of choices and well prepared. Activities on board were modest, i.e., some trivia-type games, poolside competitions, evening music and shows. The shows were good and mercifully held to one hour. Movies on board were not appealing to most adults and were not of recent vintage. The only "theater" I was aware of was outdoors by the pool--not attractive for cool February weather. Overall, if you have a demanding job or otherwise stressful life, this was a good cruise to just sit back and relax, enjoy a few drinks and good food, and soak up the sun at poolside. However, the beds were so bad, you are not likely to catch up on restful sleep!
