Review summary

This is my 2nd cruise and I was very disappointed with Royal Caribbean (my last cruise was with another company). We felt like the goal of the staff was to sell us extras - drinks, photos, souveniers, trips, etc. They hounded us everywhere! The facilities were clean, but the hot tubs were just warm and some of them didn't work properly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was average and there were times during the day (3-6:30pm) when the only food you can find is fried stuff - pizza, burgers, and fries.....which is frustrating if you're in the 2nd seating for dinner (8:30pm) and need a healthy snack. Even the formal dining room dinners were not very tasty!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were just ok - I expected better. They advertised paid activities a lot, such as Bingo ($20 minimum) and wine tasting. They did have dance classes which were fun, and a lot of activities for children. If you enjoy listening to piano or a band in a lounge, they did well in that aspect.

Cons: 1. Average food - good presentation but little taste 2. Charged extra for everything! 3. Average entertainment
