Review summary

The Enchanted Princess had no wow factor. Was a nice ship, but nothing where you just wanted to hang out and enjoy, unlike many other ships. Some entertainers, especially the piano bar singer, were horrible. Guy would play a song, tell a story that never made sense and then giggles, just odd. Rock Opera was incredible. Again, the Medallion badge is a scam. When I tried to get this made into 20% tips, the site converniently never worked and they won't help you over the phone. They just tell you to go to the website. You fill everything out and then it won't submit. Tried multiple times over many days. Will never do another Princess cruise.

Just not enough to do and what there was only lasted 30-45 minutes. Games were great, Rock Opera was fantastic. Most were too short and there just wasn't enough.

SOme music especially the piano bar singer we couldn't attend more than once. Singing and music was fine, but he would just tell stories that never made sence and then randomly giggle.

Ship tip

The Medallion is a scam. They don't allow you to tip a bartender or server. No matter the bill adds $16 to every bill. An $8 drink gets a $16 tip. Added up over a week, the tips were more than the rest of the bill, eventhough "gratuities included".

I do believe this review is bogus. I never had issues with Medallion, except the occasional failure to have drink arrive. If you have a package, no gratuities will be added, but a local in port tax may be applied. Also like others said, how is a cruise begun and ended on same day. Also, if you were charged incorrectly, just go to guest services and it will be taken care of, so if this is indeed a factual review, you can only blame yourself if you have these issues and don't bother to correct them.

Seems this might be a bogus review. The tip is an automatic 18%. If you were paying $8.00 for a drink and the tip was $16.00 and was a fact, I think a trip to guest services would have been in order. When we were on the Enchanted in January we had no such issue.

Interesting. Your cruise started and ended today. When we were on Princess we had no issues with the Princess plus.

Leaving on this ship in 3 weeks. First time on Princess. So, if you have Princess Premier, but want to order a drink every once in awhile from the bar, they add gratuities to each one? Yeah, no. Won't be doing that.
