Review summary

We love Princess cruises and even though we only visited 2 out of the scheduled ports, we had a wonderful time on board. This is our second cruise this year and we have one schedule in about 6 weeks.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We walked up, showed the lady at check-in our medallions and Covid information and walked right on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate many in the buffet and main dining room for dinner. The service was excellent and we enjoyed all the food we had.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We mostly stuck to the great shows in the Princess theater and the many activities in Pricess Live. We enjoyed all of them a lot.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All were excellent

Children's Programs

We had no children of that age aboard.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had great waiters, Olivera and Dejan. Our room steward, Oliver, was also excellent. The cruise staff, Marcus, Niki and Jayson with a "Y" were just excellent as well.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was a pretty standard Princess ship layout, but the ship was beautiful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had A242. A great room. We found the front of the ship to be much quieter. But we did get our exercise as our dining room and the food were at the aft of the ship.

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
We spent two days in New York before the cruise and loved it as always. Great food and two great shows.

Newport, Rhode Island

1 out of 5
We were unable to tender from the ship due to the weather, so we missed this port

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
We had a wonderful time in Boston walking around. Ate at Legal Sea Foods, which is always good. Visted the Quincy Marketing and the surrounding area.

Bar Harbor, Maine

1 out of 5
We were unable to tender from the ship due to the weather, so we missed this port

Saint John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
Lovely town. Did some shopping at City Market and walked around the downtown area, which is very close to where the ship was docked.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

1 out of 5
Due to Hurrican Fiona, we also missed Halifax. Very disappointing as we wished to visit the Maritime Museum and the cemetery which the Titanic victims are buried.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Always a bit confusing, but we made it off the ship around our scheduled time.
