Review summary

Where to start, NY City LGA was terrible. Transfer to ship was paid for, but had to take Uber to ship. The transfer bus left without anyone, and we were told to find our own way to the ship. Fiona (hurricane) came to visit Canada and canceled three of our five stops. Princess did, as Princess always does, compensated us for missed ports and Uber rides. We understand that Princess does not control the weather. However, the lack of crew and the untrained crew is not Princess. Our 12th Princess Cruise and 23 overall.

We ate in Capri Dinning Room and the food was awful and the service slow. One night, it took 2 1/2 hrs to eat dinner. Even the specialty restaurant Crown Grill was extremely slow.

Vista Lounge

We went one night to the Vista lounge to attend the Captain's Circle Party and were told to wait in line behind a door in the hallway until everyone was there. First time in 12 cruises that we were not allowed in when we arrived.

Excellent waiter but poor cooking staff. Cooking staff slow and did not cook food as ordered.

Not a lot of activities, but the weather was not good, cool.

The entertainment was not appealing to my wife and I, mostly musical dance.

Ship must not have a full staff. Service was slow or rare in bars and Piazza.

The cabin was typical of Princess ships. Clean, comfortable, and cabin steward was great.

Don't expect the typical Princess care.

A cruise is what you make of it sounds like you left a bad experience with the transfer in the beginning dictate your entire cruise thanks for your review Even though it probably is not accurate

I was on the Enchanted Princess a few months ago and did not have the issues you did, and I actually thought the food and service in the dining room was above par. I guess some people will complain about anything cause it didn't meet THEIR standards. I suppose for some people, its all perspective....so when one thing doesn't go right, its now it just becomes a cruise to find as many things that didn't go right instead of enjoying the cruise......even in some round about way blaming the cruise line for weather or changed itinerary due to weather.
