The cruise was absolutely amazing. The Enchanted Princess is a beautiful ship. It was also a bonus to have as many staff as passengers on the cruise ship. Princess cruises needs to be commended for doing such an outstanding job in keeping everyone safe. The cleaning staff were always cleaning walls, chairs there was always someone cleaning somewhere all the time. There were so many hand sanitizing stations around the ship and passengers and crew members all made a concerted effort to wash their hands and follow Covid guidelines.
Embarkation

We embarked at Fort Lauderdale. Picked up our Medallion device at the front desk. Super easy check-in, we were on the ship in under 30 minutes
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The ship is beautiful and new. The dining rooms are very classy. We used the Crowne Grill and the meal was amazing. The buffet was great with a lot of choices and due to Covid Princess Cruise Lines have implemented some very strict guidelines which we agree with - wash your hands and sanitize before entering, the plates and cutlery are handed to you, you are served all your food by the wait staff. Tea, coffee, water is delivered to your table there is no self-serve. They wipe down all the tables and chairs when you finish and leave ready for the next person.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We were lucky on this cruise as it was only half capacity with passengers. I participated in Zumba, Line Dance and they even had a Yahtzee game organized. The pools were great and the wait staff made efforts to try and move used towels from the deck chairs constantly that were not being used.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We weren’t too impressed with the ships production shows. The shows were very loud and seemed to be more like a Circus Du Solei show. We much prefer the musical productions that we can we can connect with. But that’s just our opinion.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the ship personnel from waiters, room stewards were all very eager to help out and give us the best experience. I think they are so grateful to be back on a working ship
Ship Quality

The enchanted princess is a beautiful new ship. We also noted that the employees were always cleaning and wiping down and sanitizing. Princess cruises need to be commended for the great job they doing to keep us all safe during these Covid times. We felt much safer on the ship than we did off the ship in the general public.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony suite and with everything being new, there’s nothing to complain about
Ship tip
The medallion app is a great tool that Princess cruises have added to some of the ships. Being on new tool there is still some fine-tuning required. When the wait staff was trying to deliver our drinks to us around the pool it was like watching a “Where Waldo show” as sometimes they had difficulty in finding us. If you order a drink poolside keep an eye out for the person delivering your drinks - it will make their job easier.
Bridgetown Barbados was one of our favourite stops. We did a princess cruise excursion and swam with the turtles had the day by the beach, drinking beer and rum punch. The beach was absolutely amazing and the water such a crystal blue colour and not cold for swimming. Even though this was one of the islands that you were only supposed to visit with a ship excursion there were people on our bus that finished the tour and then walked into town and back to the ship.
We disembarked at this port as well and did another $20 get to know the island tour. We visited beaches, the yacht club and travelled around the island and saw lots brightly coloured houses. There are lots of tour guides around the port.
This was another port that we were told we wouldn’t be allowed to do excursions on - only ship excursions. We decided to hop off the ship to look around the port and found there were many tour guides offering tours. We did another $25 tour around the island and visited an old historic Sugarmill in an open air bus. We also drove up to the top of the mountain and viewed where the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans meet.
Once again we disembarked the ship and did our own private $20 tour. We travelled in a open air small bus and visited the beaches went up the mountains and had a good look around the island.
We disembarked from the cruise ship and found plenty of tour operators. We paid $20 each and did a tour around the island. It was a great introduction to the island and well worth it.
Had a great relaxing day didn’t do an excursion. Took our own floaty‘s and just layer in the sun and sea. Nice beach barbeque provided by Princess - social distancing was adhered to for serving the lunch.
Disembarkation was a very smooth process. Princess cruises are taking the social distancing very seriously. Everyone was disembarking in an orderly manner
