It was just so nice to be back and then to be on a new ship it was even better. There are definitely some changes but nothing to keep us from going again. The masks are annoying at times but I wear one when I'm out at home so not a big deal.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was so smooth getting on the ship. We were through the whole process and on the ship in about 20 minutes. Very well organized, our only glitch was that our medallions were reversed, I put them in the wrong bands, my fault not theirs, didn't realize they had our names on them.
Ship experiences
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward Mark was excellent I asked for ice the first day and he kept it full the entire voyage I know that's just part of his job but he was so happy and always ready to help any way he could. Everyone we came into contact with had a smile on their face and continued to thank us for being on the ship. We just loved being onboard after almost two years.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin seemed larger than any we had ever had. Plenty of space and they have made the showers bigger that was a pleasant surprise. It was all so clean I wondered if we were the first to stay in the room. There were no marks on the balcony floor from chairs moving around. It was just beautiful.
Ship tip
If you don't like lanyards get something your medallion will fit in you use it all the time. We had sports bands so we didn't have to worry about grabbing them we wore them the whole trip. The medallions are very nice your door unlocks as you walk up to it so if your hands are full you don't have to shuffle stuff to find your card to open it.
We rode the ferry over to St Johns and took a private tour. People are very helpful with getting you where you need to be. They are so happy we are back.
It was pretty quick. The customs guy was a little annoying he asked what we had to declare we said t-shirts and postcards. Then he asked about my husbands hat Where did you get that? My husband always wears a straw hat but the guy just didn't want to accept we brought it with us. That was the only little quirk.
