Love love love the smaller ships. We very disappointed we were unable to go to Cuba as planned. Wish substituted POCs were different. But love Empress & her staff & crew!

Cabin / Stateroom

Pullmans are a concussion waiting to happen. Perhaps turn lower bed the other
way. Never had pullmans in room before and was not expecting to have to crawl into bed! Hit my head several times!
Ship tip
It’s a small ship perfect for relaxing and making new friends. It you expect a lot of activity, pick a larger ship.
Boring port. 5th time there. Wandered a bit to visit the flamingos then spent rest of day on ship ( why buy drinks at port when you have the beverage package?)
Over-rated but then I live on an island and have a pool. Never been a fan of water parks either. Husband did his run on the island. I stayed in the ship reading & playing trivia!
