Went for the destination but will not sail with RCCL again! Not my type of company.

Dining room was good, buffet was so so, serving the same old stuff each day. On sea days they only had a brunch buffet in the dining room. Not nearly as good as being served!

Onboard Activities

Pool was over crowded. No ballroom dancing available.

The shows were pretty good, enjoyed them

Service was fair mostly..except the first day we boarded. The luggage was left in the hall my the service area and we had to bring our own bags to our room. Never ever experienced anything like that before!

Cabin was extremely small. Could not even stand up around the bed. And the foot of the bed touched the dresser. Smallest cabin that I’ve ever been in. Not happy at all with the cabin.

Don’t book it. Use a different cruise line

Interesting but tour started late so didn’t get back to ship until 3pm and tour didn’t include lunch. No chance to eat anything, very hungry.

I was on this sailing. Never found the pool to be over crowded. The service was absolutely spectacular! Hopefully you’re willing to give Royal additional chances and realize exactly what the Empress is to the fleet and the opportunities we have because of her.

We love the Empress, she gets great reviews from others. They bring the luggage to a staging area on each deck and will bring it to your cabin eventually. A lot of people just don’t want to wait for the process to work. Works this way on any ship I’ve been on.

We love Royal Caribbean. The older ships do have smaller rooms, but we cruise for the destination, not the cruise cabin.
