We had booked a balcony however upon boarding realized we had one of only a few with a solid metal railing. Others on the ship were clear plexiglass which allowed viewing from your cabin and or a seated position. Being wheel chair bound this made for a balcony without a view. The food was poor quality and rarely fresh. The service was mediocre at best as we often waited extended periods of time for assistance and had to follow up numerous times prior to being helped. The room was clean however very outdated. Alaska was beautiful and deserves a second visit.

Check in process was quick and easy. Room was nice, but didnt really use the balcony as it was a little cold. Did see some killer wales near the tracey arm fijord. The shows were great, staff was friendly.

Voice of the Ocean was really fun to watch, I loved that. We didn't go to any shows at night, but one due to our children wanting to swim and watch the Movie under the stars! Don't get in early to Embark, take your time and wait, our lines weren't bad at all, it was awesome.

it was my first cruise and I highly recommend the emerald princess great ship beautiful had so much too do and everyone so helpful and nice and very clean ,good food and if you get a little sea sick I recommend just eat a few crackers sprite stay in bed and just relax and watch movies then you will feel great next day order room service the bed was so comfortable loved it thanks so much . My parents just came Off this ship. They are now in Seattle. This was a bucket list trip and they had a horrible time. Apparently the food is "spiced up" so they couldn't enjoy that. The pizza want open 24/7 like other ships. Buffet was limited. They didn't get to do all the excursions they paid for. Highly disappointed!

We always enjoy Alaska, just beautiful anytime of the cruising year. This is a good way to see south east Alaska. Always consider the timing for the best weather, which means the best for deck time and for excursions.

Once in a lifetime trip! It was amazing! Alaska is beautiful and my wife would move there to be a hermit if anything happened to me. Definitely do some excursions. Do some activities on the ship too. Eat as much as you want and take the stairs when you can, so that you can eat even more.

This was our first cruise and definately not our last. Everything we experienced was amazing. The entire trip; scenery, staff, food, beds, entertainment, activities, ports, excursions, EVERYTHING was amazing! I would totally recommend this to everyone.

Beautiful ship, just wish had covered pool area, as days at sea were chilly (of course it was Alaska cruise), so there were not a lot of seating areas in climate controlled areas to accommodate all guests.

For it being our first cruise we were VERY impressed with the ship and the crew.

Never again, was in a Vista suite, DVD not plugged in, incorrect dinner to the room also another night one a knife for cutlery. Bed was so uncomfortable I could hardly walk the next morning, a couple of mattress topppers and sleeping on top of the quilt made it bearable. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink and in the casino the coke was so watered down. Just a nightmare. Never again

Our steward Henry was great and the cruise director Alex was the best! The rest of the waite staff could take a course in smiling. The bartenders look right through you and the waite staff take your drinks from the table before you've finished them. Only a couple of nights I felt the food was really good.

Ok ship for an Alaskan cruise ! Pizza was disappointing, ice cream was really good when recently stocked ! Hamburgers were really good ! The guy knew I liked them and kept serving them with a smile ! Sea food lovers will feel fantastic thanks to the dining options although on lobster day the lobster was really thin and the server dropped the lobster shell on my expensive pants! The guy obviously needs more training serving at tables! Other than that the Emerald Princess does a decent job for a not expensive Alaska cruise!

Our second time on the Emerald. Alaska bound. We were very happy with the ship. The dining staff in Club Class was phenomenal!! Special dietary needs taken care of with no problems. Our suite was comfortable and we had plenty of room. The ship was clean and did not feel overcrowded. Ate at Crown Grill and the food was good however we enjoyed the Club Class dining experience better. Embarking and disembarking went smooth. Crooners bar staff were good. Saw the 70s Boogie show and enjoyed it. Comedian was funny. If you want to have a good time you will!!

Had a great time. Steward and other crew were great. New show was a little lacking. Dinning room food was better than buffet. Pizza and burgers were good. Scenery was beautiful and couldn't stop watching it go by from the balcony. Excursions were lots of fun. Great time had by all.

Expected better service in a full suite - we had to ask for most of our perks - they were not in the room. 3 out of 4 of our room service meals were either missing something or not correct. Entertainment was rubbish, seats in the tiny princess theatre were uncomfortable. They don’t put thru bridge annocements to casino so missed some Whale sightings. The suite itself was nice and big and the sofa bed more comfy than the actual bed....First and last time with Princess.

First cruise for us. Loved the entire trip. Didn't want to leave. Our room steward Darwin was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Crown grill and Michaelangelo dinning room food was excellent. Packed in a lot of activity on the excursions which were informative and entertaining. Felt pampered. Enjoyed the shows. Didn't want to leave. Will not be our last cruise.

Amazing except next time we will go later in the season. Too early to see wildlife on excursions. Late June or early July would be ideal!

We had perfect weather on our trip. Our trip was EPIC!

Absolutely stunning scenery all the way. Went to Endicott Arm rather than Tracy Arm, due to entrance way having to much ice. Endicott Arm stunning. Perfect blue skies and sunshine most of the way. It only rained in Victoria just after we arrived.
