Review summary

The ports that we visited we nice. The food and entertainment were mid.

Embarkation

Dropping of luggage was a traffic nightmare and long lines to on to the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room food was mid. It was either overcooked, didn't come with the suggested sauce (duck ala orange had no orange flavoring and was dry and stringy) and the buffet for breakfast, the fried eggs were pre made that you took off of a tray. The same for pancakes, waffles, toast, bagels... nothing was fresh.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The cruise director and his staff were wonderful. They were entertaining while doing the trivia and game shows.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The magician was not good and his story line was difficult to follow. The rest of the performers were okay but nothing to write home about.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent! With anytime dining, the first night was chaotic. Our waiter suggested we ask for him every night. He and his assistant were very accommodating. Our room steward was also excellent!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
For an inside cabin it was adequate. There was enough counter space and drawer space for 3 people. also the closet was very large.

We did not book an excursion and was able to walk around the city and enjoy it,

Norfolk, Virginia

Booked a tour to Williamsburg. We arrived at Williamsburg at 11:30 am and the tickets to get into the different buildings were 1/2 day from 9am until 1pm. We didn't even leave the ship until after 10am.

New York, New York

Took the excursion to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I wish we had more time to spend there.

Boston, Massachusetts

The hop on hop off bus stops right outside the port terminal. Book it on your own and not through Princess.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

Highland museum was wonderful.

SAGUENAY, QUEBEC, CANADA

Went to the National Park. Hiking up is strenuous.

Quebec City, Quebec

Walked the city on our own. Very enjoyable

Disembarkation

We walked our own luggage off because we had an early flight home.

If you want fresh cooked eggs, then go to omelet station and they will cook eggs the way you want them. You're complaining about something that could be easily corrected while on cruise.
